I have cell service from Fido and some time in the last few months, the default DNS server started returning bogus AAAA records for all queries, even when no AAAA record actually exists. The returned AAAA record is always an IPv6 address in Rogers IP space (see image). This bogus record breaks some non-web connectivity applications that I use every now and then.
I realize my chances of reaching anyone at Rogers who can actually fix this are slim to none. Any recommendations on what to do? Switch to a saner provider?
