I got a new Coda modem installed at my business with a static IP. When doing a port scan, it turns out the modem has both ports 80, and 443 open. I have reached out to tech support to try to get these closed (at least on the WAN), however they claim that this cannot be closed because it is a static IP.
Is this true, and if so what are my alternatives? I need a bridge mode modem that has no open ports and will work with Rogers.
